Services rendered in 2005:

Services rendered by TLMN projects range from massive case-finding campaigns to children's education. The following are some of TLM's contributions for year 2005.

  • Provided scholarships to 443 pupils and adult education services to over 60 persons.
  • Provided scholarships to 46 pupils and adult education services to over 71 persons.
  • Built /renovated 76 houses for families in need of shelter.
  • Provided bore holes /hand pumps & restored water wells in 2 communities.
  • Provided food and clothing to 42 elderly persons who do not have relatives.
  • Provided income generating grants/vocational help to 218 people.
  • Supplied & supported 5 hospitals in Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Sokoto & Akwa Ibom States.
  • Performed 152 eye surgeries and 29 reconstructive surgeries.
  • Provided 1,104 people with protective devices (shoes, crutches, artificial limbs etc).
  • Detected and treated 940 new patients with anti-leprosy medicines.
  • Trained 800 health workers.
