Governance of
TLMN:
The responsibility for
running TLM Nigeria rests with a nine-man Board of Trustees, which meets at least
once a year and comprises of Non-Executive Chairman, and eight Non-Executive Trustees,
including one (1) representative of TLM International, and seven (7) eminent Nigerians,
chosen for their experience and exemplary lives in Nigerian public life.
Day-to-day running of
TLM Nigeria is handled by the Nigeria Coordination Office (NCO) headed by the National
Director who is assisted by a team of officers comprising;
Technical Advisers, Finance Manager, Accountant, Information
Technology / Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (I.T/M&E), Programme
Development Officer (PDO), a Support/Promotions Coordinator, and a Personal Assistant.
There are three (3) main standing committees of the Board:
Personnel Advisory Committee to recruit staff and ensure
that personnel policies are in line with legal requirements.
Support and Promotions
Committee to
raise awareness about the work of TLMN and advocate for people affected
by leprosy.
Technical Advisory Group to advise on strategies for
project implementation on the field.
